Kaitlyn graduated from Western University with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and completed her Juris Doctor at Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. She was admitted to the Law Society of British Columbia in 2015. Prior to joining FC&Z, Kaitlyn practiced primarily in family law, both in a firm setting and as a sole practitioner.
Kaitlyn understands that divorce and separation can be one of the most difficult life events a family can experience. Kaitlyn guides her clients through this challenging time with compassion, objectivity and clear legal advice. She takes a practical, solutions-based approach and aims to resolve a dispute outside of court through negotiated and mediated settlements. Kaitlyn also recognizes that not all disputes can be settled and has experience effectively advocating her clients’ positions in court. Kaitlyn’s goal is to provide cost-effective and efficient solutions for her clients while preventing unnecessary conflict.
In her spare time, Kaitlyn can be found practicing pilates, spending time outdoors with her dog and travelling with family.
