Rebecca graduated from Mount Royal University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with Honours. She later attended the University of Alberta, where she received a Juris Doctor with First Class Honours in 2016. While in law school, Rebecca participated in extracurricular activities including Student Legal Services (Criminal Law Project) and the Energy Law Club. She interned at the Alberta Utilities Commission and gained a practical understanding of administrative and regulatory law. Rebecca has been a member of the Law Society of Alberta since 2017.
Prior to joining the team at FC&Z, Rebecca practiced at a civil litigation boutique firm in Calgary. From that experience, she gained a broad range of negotiation and organizational skills. She is committed to providing a superior level of prompt and courteous service to all of her clients. Rebecca has extensive litigation experience and has been involved in conducting numerous court applications, summary judgments, and special applications, as well as mediations and judicial dispute resolutions. She has appeared in all levels of Court in Alberta, including Provincial Court, Court of Queen’s Bench, and the Court of Appeal.
In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys being outdoors in nature, spending time with family and friends, playing piano, reading, and yoga.
